OFFICE ASSISTANT - PROJECT MANAGER
FULL TIME or PART TIME
Funk is seeking motivated Self-Starter to join the Funk Bowling Family to provide support for our Operations Team as directed to ensure that projects and objectives are accomplished. Must be willing to “roll up your sleeves” to assist with the day-to-day operations to include managing contracts, communications internal and external on various projects, ordering supplies, maintaining the cleanliness and safety within the office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer incoming calls and greet guests visiting the office with professionalism and care.
- Perform administrative and office support, such as bookkeeping via QuickBooks, spreadsheets, CRM and maintenance of filing system.
- Coordinate scheduling and calendar management with Operations Team
- Assist Account Manager and Operations team in managing the customer experience before, during and after the sale.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Skills needed to perform job successfully
- Willingness to learn new things.
- Experience with MS Office, especially Excel
- Telephone etiquette, attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
INSTALLER
FULL TIME
FUNK is seeking skilled trades people who want to be part of building Dreams and Memories. At Funk, we provide bowling products to our customers all over the world that create fun memories. Whether it is commercial entertainment center or private residence, they dream it, we build it, and you install it.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn from Master Installer with over 30 year experience building bowling alleys.
- Installation of complete bowling equipment package: foundation, lanes, bumpers, gutters, capping, pinsetters, ball returns, scoring, and seating.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe jobsite and remove all construction and other trash from jobsite.
- Skills needed to perform job successfully:
- Dependability
- Demonstrate high quality workmanship
- Ability to learn and work in fast paced environment
- Electrical and Communication wiring skills are a plus
- Willingness to travel: 75% preferred.
- Pay: $18 – $28/hour, $30 per diem for overnight, overtime available
Germany – HQ

Welder
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creation of welding fixtures
- Welding of various assemblies
- Customized production of special parts
- Checking weld seams for fractures or defects
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to read written instructions and construction plans
- Good physical resilience and heat resistance
- Very good gross and fine motor skills
Carpenter
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Production and assembly of wooden elements for the construction of 9-Pin and bowling alleys
- Collaboration with electricians, mechanics and other trades
- Quality assurance and documentation of the work
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed carpenter apprenticeship or comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the field of furniture construction, interior fittings or comparable
- Craftsmanship and technical know-how
- Confident handling of woodworking equipment and machines
- Flexibility to realize project-specific special solutions according to drawings
Electronics Technician
TASKS
- You will keep our customers’ bowling and 9-pin alleys up and running:
- Operating area around the FUNK facility in Laatzen (radius approx. 150 km)
- Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting at our customers’ locations
- Documentation of the work carried out
- You will support your colleagues in production:
- Assembly and repair of electrical/electronic components
- Programming and parameterization of system/machine controls
- Collaboration in the further development and optimization of our technology
- And with the appropriate skills and interest:
- Creation and maintenance of electrotechnical drawings, circuit diagrams and other technical documentation
- Supporting the commissioning of our systems at customer sites
- Occasional trips abroad to exciting countries, interesting people and fascinating projects

RESPONSIBILITIES

Installer for electrical engineering / wood construction
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installation of bowling and 9-pin alleys
- Troubleshooting and service
- Commissioning of the systems
- Customer training
- Repair and renovation of existing systems
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed apprenticeship or work experience in the field of electrical engineering or wood construction
- Experience with system assembly or construction site work
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work in a team
- Solution-oriented way of working
- Knowledge of English is an advantage
- A driving license is desirable
